Kate was diagnosed with Endometriosis in her mid teens after struggling with pain for many years.

“Endometriosis runs in my family – I’m so lucky to have a great support network around me. Being an Endometriosis Ambassador is important as I feel that support is something everyone should have, whether you are suffering from Endo or have someone close to you that is. The more we talk openly about Endometriosis, the more awareness and understanding we can help raise. Let's start the conversation.

Kirstey Whicker

In 1996 Kirstey Whicker was 24yrs old and ready to start an exciting life. Work experience with the PR department of Vogue Australia had led to a job offer, so Kirstey was very excited about her future.

Then she goes to a 21st birthday party in Medindie & as she and her friends were leaving, they were hit by a drunk driver who had also been at the party.

Kirstey died three times and after six months in a coma, she started extensive rehabilitation.

This is after she was told she’d never walk or talk again.

But now Kirstey Whicker is here, walking, talking and proving that perseverance and determination are very useful qualities to have!
